Last September 27 was the 1st day of IndieDevDay and we went to La Farga de l’Hospitalet, because the Department of Culture of the Generalitat, through the Directorate General of Innovation and Digital Culture, organized the 2nd edition of the TalentDevDay, an event with the intention of connecting companies and professionals.
We went there because we need a person who understands 2D Art and illustrations, another to help us with the design and programming of the User Interface and one to support us with the programming of the intelligence artificial intelligence and the multiplayer format.
The event, which had the official sponsor Larian Studios, was very well organized. First we had the opportunity to explain our project in front of a large crowd. Later, we were given a list with the profiles of those people who had shown interest, indicating their role, school or university of origin, as well as their employment status, and we were shown to a room where everything was of separate tables where you can interview the different interested parties very comfortably in a very organized way.
We were then able to speak to over 40 people to see if we could fit together working as a team. Now it’s our turn to respond to people who are interested in collaborating on our project.
A great initiative that we hope the sector can continue to enjoy for many years!
