During the week of January 17th to 23rd, we had the opportunity to collaborate with the Gravi School, to carry out a very original class. A class with two different parts:
During the first part we were able to talk, together with the professor of Biology and Sciences of the Contemporary World Joan Bofill, about pollination and explain the importance of pollinators and their current critical situation, as well as those most characteristic features of plants and bees.
During the second part, we were able to use the Computer Room thanks to the support of Xavier Baldovin, and so the students of 1st of Baccalaureate and 4th of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education in spanish) had the opportunity to play our prototype and fill out some questionnaires, sharing with us their impressions of the current state of the videogame.
From the Bee The Best team, we are very happy with the experience because the answers of the more than 50 participants, apart from motivating and entertaining us in equal parts, will be very useful for us to continue perfecting the video game.
The experience was full of surprises both technically:
We dealt with some interesting screen resolutions and 32bits OS
and socially: as everyone had so much fun despite the early stage of the prototype!
